As I started my Pensacola Icons photo journey 17th Street’s Graffiti Bridge was obviously high on my list, but always wanting to make my image a little different than other photographers, I realized I needed a train in the picture because the “bridge” was actually a train trestle.

Anyhow, I was at this location early one morning thinking about shooting the bay or some pelicans when I heard a train whistle, so I quickly moved into position to get the image you now see. And I even got a sunrise to boot!

A trifecta of a morning, indeed!
